Basic Course Study Program

The Basic Course in Interior Design is a one-year course leading to a Certificate.

The course aims to:

  • Familiarize the student with the methods and tools in design and the arts;
  • Develop in the student a deeper appreciation of the art and aesthetics involved in design;
  • Enable the sudent to apply sound decorating principles in his career as an Interior Desginer, upon completion of the course.

The course spans four terms of twelve weeks each. A class is either from 9 am to 12 noon, or from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Registration is conducted on the first and second week of June, September, December and March.

The total number of students per lecture class is kept at 35 and per laboratory class to 25 students. Admission is on first come first served basis.
